Soft Landscaping for Biodiversity

Soft Landscaping services are available in the greater Glasgow area, or further afield for larger jobs. Typically, we concentrate on wildlife-friendly installations such as wildflower meadows and native hedges, but we do also lay standard lawns and hedges. We do not install artificial grass.

Biodiversity features that we can install include insect hotels, habitat poles, ‘hugel beds’ (raised beds created by turfing over piles of logs and soil), bee banks, hedgehog houses, wildflower meadows, native hedges and more. We can supply and install pre-made structures, or in some instances we can create something from what we find in your garden!

Tom is passionate about helping clients maximise the biodiversity in their gardens. In Scotland, nearly 40%* of the country’s urban green space is made up of private gardens, emphasising their hugely important role in helping to create and maintain sanctuaries and corridors for wildlife.
