Tom Angel is a Chartered Horticulturist, Award-Winning Garden Designer and holder of the Royal Horticultural Society’s most prestigious qualification, the Master of Horticulture (RHS) award. Since 2003 Tom has worked in landscaping, horticulture and conservation all over the world - starting his career in London, he has also worked in France, New Zealand and Scotland. During this time, Tom spent twelve years running his own Scotland-wide commercial gardening company looking after clients such as The Crown Estate (Scotland), Cairngorms National Park Authority and numerous major housebuilders and large private estates. In 2016 Tom became a Chartered Horticulturist, and after qualifying in garden design (with Distinction) went on to win Best New Show Garden and a Silver Gilt Award at Gardening Scotland in 2019. Tom is also a branch secretary and former branch chairman of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture, and is a fully-accredited member of the Professional Garden Consultants Association.
Horticultural consultancy clients to date have included South Lanarkshire Council, Cairngorms National Park Authority, James Gibb Factors, Charles White Ltd and the National Trust for Scotland. Consultancy has also been carried out for major housebuilders, private estate owners and numerous architecture firms.
